Home Water Filter System Requires Little Maintenance

What is the maintenance required on a whole house water filter system
like the Healthy Home Solution filter?
As long as you have a high quality water filtration and conditioning
system like the Healthy Home Solution by Pure Elements, Inc., which
does not use any salt or chemicals for the water conditioning portion
of the filter, your maintenance interval is as long as five to ten
years easily.

This compared to having a simple cartridge filter or something more
complicated like a reverse osmosis drinking water system under each
counter requires maintenance at least every year if not every six
months. Those systems require a lot of filter changes or they are
rendered ineffective. That’s another thing you need to think about
and you’ll need to spend your time replacing them and the cost of the
replacement filters and parts.

When you tackle water filtration and conditioning on a whole house
approach, what happens is you dramatically reduce your maintenance
costs and you save a lot of money over using point of use systems
which need to be under each counter or faucet in the home. If you
work it out on paper, you get high quality water for pennies a gallon
with a whole house water filter as compared to the much more expensive
over time point of use systems or buying bottled water.

Water Conditioning Filters vs Obsolete Water Softeners

Water Conditioning Filters vs Obsolete Water Softeners

http://www.wholehousewaterfilternow.com
What are the reason I should buy a new type of water
conditioning filter and not an old traditional water softener?
Why is there a substantial movement to get away from traditional old
fashioned water softeners? Here are a list of reasons:

1) These old system use salt and add chlorides to the environment.

2) New technologies now exist the can address all the issues the old
fashioned water softeners address but without the use of salt or other
chemicals being added to the water. Plus these new technologies do
not put salt and chlorides into the eco-system which is extremely bad
for the environment.

3) Many consumers do not like the “slimy feeling” that old fashioned
softeners create when they condition the water. These old systems
make it seem like you can’t get shampoo out of your hair or the soap
off your body. Terry cloth towels end up feeling too soft and
unnatural. Many people find these slippery and slimy characteristics
annoying.

4) And with the old traditional water softening systems you are
required to dump 50 pound bags of salt into the system often.

There doesn’t seem to be much point in buying one of these antiquated
and damaging systems when you can get a newly designed and green
friendly water filtration system that addresses all the issues an old
fashioned water softener does more. And the newer systems require
almost no maintenance except every ten years or so.
