A Look at the Pur FM-3700 Faucet Mount Water Filter

This is a overview of the Pur FM-3700 Chrome faucet mount water filter. I chose this over Brita and others because it offered the best filtering for the best price. There are other filters on the market with slightly better filtering, but they are far more expensive and have to be specially ordered, etc. There are cheaper ones as well (like the Brita) but these aren’t as effective at filtering out contaminants. This Pur (3 stage) filter is certified by the NSF to reduce 30 contaminants. It also greatly improves the taste to that equal or exceeding bottled water.

This Pur water filter was installed 3 months ago. I paid US $40.00 for it. It leaks allover. This product comes witha 10 year warranty! Not even halfway through the first filter and it springs a bad leak.
