My door water dispensor on my GE sbs frig is not working, ice dispensing is fine.?

I’ve replaced the filter, and still nothing. Any thoughts as to what it might be and how to go about fixing it?

If the ice is working you are getting water to it. The problem is either the micro switch or the solenoid valve that it controls. The electrical system can be accessed through the black plastic panel inside the door.

    You need to check your water switch and the solenoid your problem should lie in one of the two.

    this may sound dumb, but check the light above the dispencer. my dispencer wouldnt work so i called a repair man, cost me $75 to replace a $1.25 light bulb. could steal one from kids night light.
