why does less water come out of a filter system connected to faucet?
when you have a filter like PUR connected to your faucet, how come to drink the water, it comes out thinner, than when you just use the water to say, wash the dishes?
When you use the filter to make drinking water, the water has to go through the filter which slows the flow down.
In plain English, the filter acts like a clog in the line and only a "trickle" of water gets through at a time.
