I have owned 4 of ...
I have owned 4 of these faucet filters and have had the same problem each time- the unit easily cracks and leaks and water sprouts all over the place. Why do I keep buying them? Because the filters outlast the faucet mount. Rather than throwing out the filters (which are costly), I kept replacing the unit.

I have contacted the manufacturer. They do not respond.

I am now shopping for a better faucet mount water purification system. Any suggestions?

I know this is an ...
I know this is an old video, but My identical PUR filter just started doing the same thing. It's not a washer or a seal, but the the lower plastic housing that hold the aerator broke. Maybe some good glue would fix it, but I need to find a glue I don't mind in my drinking water!

fuck a washer. ...
a washer. Mine does the same thing, it's 3 months old. Poor engineering, poorly made Chinese plastic parts. I'd pay 3 times as much for an identical unit made from machined brass. I also had the "chrome" plastic fall off one day into my garbage disposal. Fun! What a piece of shit.
